Course Description
Synopsis:
Client information must be kept confidential. However, what happens in such situations:
when the client has passed away;
when family members disagree;
when a deputy, a donee, or an executor requests the documents;
when a lawyer is asked to testify against a former client;
when a court is involved
In this second episode, it focuses
on one of the most fundamental professional obligations that every lawyer owes
to every client: confidentiality. The above questions are explored in Chapter 4 of the Professional Ethics Digest through eight real-life scenarios.
